I think what we learned in class this week was probably the most interesting information so far in this class. The most interesting part in my opinion being the popular vs. scholarly sources. Of coarse when your writing a paper you would like to use scholarly sources. I found it interesting that there are scholarly vs popular in almost everything. Like when people are trying to make a movie. When it comes to books and websites you can tell the difference most of the time but it could take some time. Popular sources are there to draw you in, they grab your attention much more then the scholarly sources and it could be hard to discard them. Something else we learned is more on the books and how to take them out. This last week actually helped a lot with that and I fell like I would be able to find where a book is and would be able to retrieve it. It just may take a while to navigate to the right spot in the library. We also then talked about how some of the proper ways to cite things are so you give people that credit for their ideas and don't get accused of plagiarism. All of these concepts that were taught this week will help me get through college assignments more easily and with less of a worry about plagiarism. I will have a better understanding of not being drawn in by the popular sources. My one question for the week would be about the project. The three projects are all due in the upcoming weeks. I would just like to know more on how to get started and form some good papers.

I like what you said about popular versus scholarly sources. I think in general we tend to go for more visually appealing books and sources, so it's not always easy to pick up a scholarly article instead.
